How Can Machine Learning model infuse Segmentation for Customer 360 Data for Microsoft Customer Insight

Machine Learning Model can add some additional index to existing data. this data/score is built from learning customer's existing activities/practices and history data  maintained in system

While we have machine learning model built on Azure ML, and web service exposed with arranged logic, Further model can be integrated to Customer Insights.

1)Churn Score Machine Learning Score Segmentation- As we add additional churn score to each customer which is some index associated in range of  (0-.9). Every customer therefore will have some churn score for example .6, .7 etc.

Segmentation capability can be applied to every attribute associated to customer record, as Churn score is also an addition being added after applying custom ML.

We can project data for All the Customer for which Churn score is greater than .8.this could be your heavily engaging audience.

Configuring segment rule will look like following.

 to Create segment from ML, go to create segment from intelligence as shown below



Further configure the conditions-

a) Churn score greater than .8-



b) Spa Usage segmentation




Further segmented data will filter all the records which qualifies the condition.



now this Download csv option allows you to download data/list of customers matching the condition.

2)Recommendation Machine Learning Model Segmentation: Now Another Machine learning custom model could be "Recommendation model". Basically Recommendation model gives first 4-5 recommendation of activity/product  based on customers existing history of records configured.

So filter can be based on Customer Who  has "Spa" as recommendation, Filter all those customers,



Idea to filter all relevant condition and data to project on, is to get the list of customer we want to target for certain campaign or we might want to create some kind of marketing list to see best suited matched customer for the offerings.




How to Enable Activity Flow in Customer Insight from CDS - (Next step to Synchronize CIAD)

Below is enhancement to basic Customer Insight In a day workshop

Problem Statement- How to synchronize the activity from Dynamics to CI and linked power app?

Solution- activity that was configured in CI, was from static csv file, to embed checkout activity propagate across, it needs to be added to data source.

1. Launch Customer Insight https://home.ci.ai.dynamics.com/

2. Select Data Source- Select existing Dynamics connector data source

3. Edit the existing data source- add entity for checkout "tsp_contosoboutiquecheckin"

this was technical name of entity in my configured dynamics environment, in case you have any different configure, enable respective entity.


4. Output to above exercise- all checkout clicks which are transforming as activity only in dynamics so far, will start getting imported to CI on regular refresh frequency and will load in respective  power app and power bi screens in activities timelines.

Create Trial environment for Microsoft Customer Insights

Four Step Process to Setup Customer Insights Trial for Integrated workshop with CDS, Power App & Flow Integrations




Each designated trial is to enable user for Integrated trial capabilities, in case you are only interested in CI trial, direct navigation to step#4 would help.

1.Office 365 Licence: The first step in the process is to create an Office 365 tenant for your user accounts. Open an “in private” browser window and navigate to https://aka.ms/appinadayo365signup.

Enter a valid account information of your organization, to which email can be sent.




Fill in as below, changing to the country where the workshop is going to be delivered and your contact info, for ex: India

1.1 click Create new Account.



1.2 Enter the Valid phone number and Select Country.



2.Adding Power App Licencing: Now that you have a working Office 365 tenant, we will add 25 Power Platform licenses to the tenant. Open a new tab and navigate to https://aka.ms/appinadaypowerappsignup. On this page you simply need to confirm.

Verify in licences that Power app licences are added to the user.


3.Dynamics Trial Licence: Now setting up dynamics trial, you can skip the step if you already have a dynamics org with customer service/sales enabled.this org will be required for executing module#2 for CDS connector.
this account can be different than created in previous step, you might need to use your respective credentials for authenticating CDS connector in CI later.
      
Dynamics 365 Trials. Click on Sign up here.

3.1.Click on "No, Continue signing up"
3.2 Follow/Finish the regular steps to create normal dynamics trial.

4. Customer Insight Trial Licence: This step is to enable Customer Insight trial environment.Open another tab of browser, launch https://aka.ms/tryci, enter same "<youruser>.onmicrosoft.com" logged in user credentials of previous step where office 365 licence was added. click Sign up.


Enter logical name of environment other than demo, Select region Europe/North America. Create a Trial environment.
